Requesting a Quote
Please send an e-mail to me at email@example.com with the subject COSTUME COMMISSION – YOUR NAME in the subject line. I get lots of spam, so if you do not put this in the subject bar, the e-mail will most likely get deleted.
In the e-mail, please provide:
- Your real name
- Character/costume name (if applicable)
- Contact information including: e-mail, phone number, and mailing address (This information will be kept private, and only used for job tracking and office purposes)
- A detailed description of the costume AND a link to or attachment of ref art of the costume. Please include costume preferences at this time, I will not accept commissions without reference art. ONE dedicated ref sheet please, do not send multiple refs with cherry-picked features from each.
TERMS OF SERVICE
Quoted prices are good for 30 days from date of quote, unless otherwise stated. Posted prices on website are a quideline and will not be accepted, as an obligation, or offer to sell any goods listed therein; a quote is required for all work.
A 30% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required on all items before I will add you to the queue list. The remaining amount due must be paid IN FULL before I will begin work on your piece, and shipping fees must be paid for in full before I will ship. The shipping total MUST be paid for within six (6) months of completion (unless otherwise agreed upon). If the costume shipping has not been paid for by this time, I will sell it at auction to recoup costs. Any additional payments will be refunded, but the original 30% deposit will not be returned.
All prices are in EUR. I accept Paypal, Money orders and certified cheques.

QUEUE SYSTEM AND DEADLINES:
All work is based on a queue system. Your name is added to the queue once the 30% non-refundable deposit is paid. Costumes will be worked on in the order they are listed in the queue. If you have a desired deadline, please indicate so when ordering. I will ensure my best to meet your deadline within reason, however this may not always be possible. If I am unable to meet your deadline I will discuss it with you. Rush orders are accepted at the artist’s discretion, additional rush charges may apply.
All shipments are made via German Post unless otherwise requested by the commissioner. Shipping is NOT included in the price of the costume and will be calculated once the costume is completed. I can provide shipping quotes prior to completion, but these quotes are subject to change.
All Shimpents include insurance and a tracking number.
The buyer is responsible for all duty fees, customs, brokerage, and taxes over and above the cost of shipping.
All suits come with a 30 day warranty. If the item you have commissioned becomes damaged or ripped, or if something falls off or breaks within the first 30 days you may return the item and I will repair it free of charge. If item appears to have been handled improperly or obviously abused I will not repair it, and the item will be sent back at the customer’s own expense. If the item has been worn prior to returning, it must be washed before being sent for repairs. I will not work on dirty or soiled items and the product will be sent back at the customer’s expense.
I may be willing to accept a return on an item, however it must be agreed upon in advance. The item balance will be returned, but the initial 30% depost is non-refundable.
I will still do repairs on a suit after the 30 day warranty has ended, but repair charges may apply.
CANCELLING / ORDERING COMMISSIONS
If a customer wishes to cancel a commission their balance will be returned, but the original 30% deposit will be forfeit.
Changes may NOT be made once I have begun work on the commission – these changes include; fur color, Scaly type, changes from plantigrade to digitigrade or vice versa, style and materials. A new and updated ref sheet MUST be provided with any desired changes.
I reserve the right to refuse certain orders and commissions. If I do refuse a commission, I will inform the commissioner why they have been refused.
I reserve the right to cancel a commission even if already in progress. If Aroks-Fantastic-Dragon-Store chooses to cancel a commission, the customer will be refunded IN FULL including the 30% non-refundable deposit. Reasons for cancelling a commission may include: lack of communication by the customer, threats of violence, harrassment or verbal abuse, or unresolvable conflicts between myself and the customer.
The most Matierials are made out by Latex, so please be aware it is at the customer’s own risk.
